"story_excerpt": "Has anyone on here gotten the golden vee word? We had our first meeting today with beyond global partners and to sum it up, basically, we pay $250,000 to “invest” 20% into a start up company and the other 80% goes to stocks and bonds (a trader) and we get a visa for two years and the option to renew that for five and then after ten we can apply for citizenship.\n That leaves us paying double taxes in US for 5 years, losing $250,000 of compounded interest in our own stock market and no guaranteed return of that $250,000.\n Just starting the journey here but my god…. It feels like I’ll never be able to leave the US.\n I have been studying Italian for 4 months and plan to continue. I have a TFOL/TSOL and could do consulting. My husband is a Doctorate and could also teach and is a chiropractor.\n ",
